(CNN) — A teenage pilot flying a single-engine aircraft with a number of relations on board made an emergency touchdown close to a two-lane freeway within the San Bernardino Nationwide Forest in California on Monday.
The Federal Aviation Administration instructed CNN a Piper PA-28 with 4 folks on board landed shortly earlier than 10 a.m. native time Monday on Cajon Boulevard.
Peters was flying his grandmother and two cousins from Apple Valley Airport to Riverside Airport, in keeping with KCBS/KCAL, when his engine failed and, as a result of terrain, he was unable to inform a close-by airport tower.
